How is the data on my devices erased?
It depends on the type media / equipment
Degaussing
Degaussers are able to erase because they generate a magnetic field so powerful that it permanently removes the magnetic memory from the iron oxide which removes or randomized the data pattern.
Depending on the type of media, different magnetic field strengths are required to effectively destroy magnetic memory. Modern tapes and hard drives require more magnetic strength. Depending on the type of media your organization uses, we will use the appropriate degausser to get the job done.
Hard drives are not reusable after being degaussed. Some media types are reusable after degauss and some are not

Proprietary and approved software and processes are in place for sure data eradication.

Do you buy mixed equipment lots, or only single categories?
Yes. Mixed lots are common during data center decommissions and office refreshes. Send us a basic equipment list, photos, or an export report and we’ll sort out what has resale value and what needs to be recycled.
Do you handle full data center decommissions?
Yes. Whether it’s a handful of retired servers or a complete multi-site decommission — racks, switches, drives, memory, CPUs, PDUs included — we scope the whole lot and give you one consolidated offer.
How do you value networking equipment like switches, routers, and firewalls?
Value comes down to age, port count, throughput, and current demand for that model in the secondary market. Submit your model numbers and quantities and we’ll price it against what’s moving right now.
What determines the value of a used server?
Mainly what’s inside it: CPU model and count, RAM type and capacity, drive configuration, and overall storage density. Two identical chassis can be worth very different amounts depending on how they’re configured — send us the full spec sheet for an accurate number.
How do I get a quote?
Send us your equipment list — model numbers, quantities, and condition. A data supply specialist reviews it against current market demand and responds with a cash offer, typically within one business day.
What information do you need to give me an accurate quote?
An itemized list with model numbers, quantities, and condition is ideal. If you don’t have that handy, photos of asset tags or serial numbers work too — we can usually identify equipment from those.
Will you pick up my equipment, or do I need to ship it?
Both are available. For larger lots, we coordinate freight pickup directly from your location. Smaller quantities can be shipped using a prepaid label we provide — either way, shipping is on us.
How should I package equipment I’m shipping to you?
Pack tightly enough that nothing shifts in transit — loose components are the most common cause of shipping damage. If you’re shipping on our prepaid label, we can also send packing guidance or materials for larger or more fragile items on request.
Why sell to you instead of listing equipment myself on eBay or a marketplace?
