We Source to Your Specifications, So You Do Not Have to Shop Around

We do not maintain a warehouse of new equipment. If you came here expecting to browse in-stock inventory and add items to a cart, that is not how this works — and being upfront about that is more useful to you than pretending otherwise.

What we do: when you tell us what you need, we go find it. We have spent decades building relationships with authorized dealers, manufacturer channels, and equipment brokers across the enterprise IT market. When a client needs specific hardware — a particular server configuration, a networking platform that has gone allocation-constrained, a storage system to match an existing environment — we reach out to that network, source it competitively, and bring the options back to you.

The value is not inventory on a shelf. It is access to supply you cannot easily find on your own, at pricing that reflects real market relationships rather than retail markup.

Tell Us What You Need — We Start Sourcing Immediately

Why Use a Sourcing Partner Instead of Going Direct?

Most enterprise IT buyers start with the OEM or a major CDW-type reseller. That works well for commodity hardware in stock. It works less well in a handful of situations where a sourcing partner adds real value:

Allocation-constrained or backordered equipment

Certain server platforms, networking equipment, and storage systems go into allocation — manufacturer supply cannot keep up with demand. Enterprise buyers who go through standard channels get put on a wait list. Our dealer network often has access to allocation that standard channels do not, because our relationships extend across multiple supply tiers.

Discontinued or hard-to-source configurations

Organizations running homogeneous environments sometimes need additional units of a platform that has been superseded by a newer generation — to avoid the cost and complexity of a mid-cycle upgrade. Finding new-condition units of discontinued platforms requires market relationships that a single procurement channel usually cannot cover.

Competitive sourcing across multiple dealers

When you buy direct from one source, you get one price. When we source on your behalf, we contact multiple dealers simultaneously and bring back competitive options. The pricing difference can be meaningful on large orders.

Time — the thing enterprise procurement teams never have enough of

Sourcing hardware across multiple vendors, comparing configurations, validating lead times, and managing purchase coordination takes time that most IT and procurement teams do not have available. We do this as our core operation. You submit a request; we do the legwork.

Bundling with lifecycle services

Organizations that are simultaneously retiring old equipment and acquiring new equipment benefit from working with a single partner who handles both sides. We buy your outgoing hardware and source your incoming hardware — with the asset recovery from the former helping offset the cost of the latter. That is a workflow most procurement channels cannot support.

What Equipment We Source

We source enterprise-grade hardware across a wide range of categories. If your organization needs it and it exists in the market, we can pursue it through our dealer network.

Category

Examples We Source

Servers

Rack-mount, blade, and tower servers — Dell PowerEdge, HP ProLiant, Cisco UCS, Lenovo ThinkSystem, Supermicro — in new or new-condition

Storage Systems

SAN arrays, NAS systems, all-flash platforms — NetApp, Dell EMC, Pure Storage, HPE Nimble, IBM — configured to match existing environments

Networking Equipment

Switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers — Cisco Nexus, Juniper, Aruba, Palo Alto, Fortinet — including allocation-constrained SKUs

GPU & High-Performance Compute

NVIDIA GPU platforms, HPC nodes, AI/ML training infrastructure — particularly useful where standard channels are backordered

Workstations & Laptops

Enterprise workstation and laptop configurations — Dell, HP, Lenovo, Apple — in bulk quantities for fleet deployments

Telecommunications & UC

VoIP systems, conferencing infrastructure, contact center platforms — Cisco, Poly, Avaya, Microsoft Teams-compatible hardware

Peripherals & Accessories

Enterprise monitors, KVM switches, server rails, UPS units, structured cabling infrastructure

Do not see your category listed? Submit your requirement anyway. If the equipment exists in the market, we will pursue it. We will tell you honestly if we cannot source it.

How We Source: Our Dealer Network and Why It Matters

Being transparent about how this works is important because it sets accurate expectations — and because it explains why the sourcing model is useful, not a limitation.

We do not manufacture equipment. We do not maintain a warehouse of new hardware. When you submit a request, we activate relationships with authorized third-party dealers, distributor channels, and equipment brokers who do have inventory. Our role is to aggregate supply on your behalf — contacting multiple sources simultaneously, comparing availability and pricing, and presenting you with options that reflect what the actual market looks like for your specific requirement.

The value of this model is not that we hold inventory — it is that we have relationships across a broader supply network than most organizations can maintain themselves. A single procurement team contacts two or three preferred vendors. We contact the relevant portion of a network that has been built over decades of IT equipment transactions on both the buy and sell side.

Because we are active buyers of enterprise equipment — through our ITAD and buyback programs — we maintain active dealer relationships that a pure procurement broker does not have. Dealers who sell us equipment also source equipment for us. That reciprocity creates access that is not available through a pure sourcing-only channel.

What to Expect: Honest Answers Before You Commit

Because we source rather than stock, there are things we want to be direct about before you submit a request:

Lead times vary.

Some equipment is available and can move quickly — within a few days. Some configurations require searching allocation-constrained channels, and that takes longer. We give you an honest lead time estimate when we respond to your request, not a placeholder that gets revised repeatedly.

Not every request can be filled.

If the equipment you need does not exist in our network at the time of your request — because it is end-of-life with no remaining stock, under active allocation with no accessible supply, or simply not something our network carries — we will tell you that directly. We do not pad your lead time estimate or string along a request we cannot fulfill.

Pricing reflects market conditions.

We source at market prices and add our service margin. We do not invent a list price and then discount from it. The pricing we present reflects what the market is actually charging for the equipment at the time of your request. If you have a price target, share it with us and we will tell you whether the market can hit it.

New-condition refurbished is often worth considering.

For many enterprise hardware requirements, new-condition refurbished equipment from our own ITAD inventory or from our dealer network performs identically to new — often at 30 to 60 percent lower cost. If you are open to that option, tell us and we will present it alongside new options. We will never substitute refurbished for new without telling you; it is always your decision.

Submit Your Requirement — We Respond Honestly

Who Benefits Most From Our Sourcing Service

IT Teams on Compressed Timelines

When a piece of infrastructure fails unexpectedly and needs rapid replacement, or a project deadline requires hardware that is not available through standard channels, sourcing speed matters more than shelf availability. We work the network immediately.

Procurement Teams Managing Homogeneous Environments

Organizations that standardize on a specific platform — and need additional units to match that environment without forcing a premature platform migration — often run into stock constraints on older configurations. We search channels that standard procurement does not reach.

Organizations Doing Simultaneous Refresh and Acquisition

If you are retiring one generation of equipment and acquiring the next, handling both through the same partner simplifies the process and generates asset recovery value that partially offsets the acquisition cost.

MSPs and VARs Sourcing for Clients

Channel partners who need to source specific equipment for client deployments can work with us as a back-end sourcing resource. We find the equipment; you manage the client relationship. If you have volume or recurring sourcing needs across your client base, let us know and we can discuss how to structure that relationship.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you stock new equipment on-site?

No. We do not maintain an on-site inventory of new equipment. When you submit a sourcing request, we contact our network of authorized dealers and equipment brokers to locate what you need. This means we are not limited to what happens to be on a shelf — we can pursue specific configurations, allocation-constrained equipment, and discontinued platforms through our dealer relationships. It also means lead times depend on what the market can provide, which we will tell you honestly upfront.

How long does sourcing take?

It depends on the equipment and market conditions. Common configurations from major platforms like Dell, HP, or Cisco can often be located within 24 to 48 hours. Allocation-constrained equipment, discontinued configurations, or unusual SKUs may take longer as we work through multiple dealer channels. We give you an honest lead time estimate when we respond to your request — not a placeholder date we revise later.

Where do you source new equipment from?

We source through authorized third-party dealers, distributor channels, and equipment brokers across the enterprise IT market. We do not source from grey market channels or unverified suppliers. Because we are active buyers of enterprise equipment through our ITAD and buyback programs, we maintain active dealer relationships that provide access to supply across the market — including channels that standard single-source procurement does not reach.

Can you source equipment that is backordered or allocation-constrained through standard channels?

Often yes, though not always. Allocation constraints affect multiple supply tiers simultaneously, and we are not immune to widespread market shortages. What we can do is contact multiple supplier relationships simultaneously — which increases the probability of finding available stock — and work channels that are not accessible through standard procurement. We will tell you honestly if the equipment is genuinely unavailable across the network.

Do you offer new-condition refurbished as an alternative to new?

Yes, and for many enterprise hardware requirements it is worth considering. New-condition refurbished equipment from our ITAD inventory or from our dealer network — units that have passed rigorous functional testing and carry warranty coverage — often performs identically to new at 30 to 60 percent lower cost. We will never substitute refurbished for new without your knowledge; it is always your decision. But if you are open to it, tell us and we will include refurbished options alongside new in our response.

Can you handle sourcing and IT equipment buyback at the same time?

Yes. Many clients are simultaneously acquiring new equipment and retiring existing hardware. We coordinate both sides — sourcing the incoming equipment through our dealer network while purchasing the outgoing equipment through our ITAD program. The asset recovery value from your retiring hardware can offset the cost of your new acquisition, and you work with a single point of contact for both transactions.

Is there a minimum order size?

No. We source single units and fleet-scale deployments. That said, the economics of sourcing single units through a dealer network are different from bulk orders — we will give you an honest assessment of whether sourcing is the right channel for your specific request. For single-unit requirements, you may also find our refurbished inventory a faster and more cost-effective option.

What information do I need to provide for a sourcing request?

The more specific, the better. At minimum: make and model or platform, configuration details (processor, memory, storage, form factor), quantity, required condition (new only, or open to new-condition refurbished), and any timing requirements. If you have a quote from another source you want us to match or beat, share it — it tells us the pricing target we are working toward.

Tell Us What You Need — We Handle the Search

We do not have a catalog. We have a network. When you submit a sourcing request, we activate that network on your behalf — contacting multiple authorized dealers simultaneously, comparing pricing and availability, and bringing you options you would have had to spend hours finding on your own.

Submit your requirement with as much specification detail as you have. We will respond within one business day with what we found — and an honest answer if we could not find it.

If you are also retiring equipment that needs to be disposed of, include that information too. We handle both sides.

Testimonials

“The buyback program was easy for me to use. I simply sent WEBUY an email with the list of surplus items that I had. WEBUY replied back with a quoted value. I then shipped WBUY the tapes and quickly received payment. The process was very easy and I felt good that I wasn’t throwing the equipment into the landfill and someone else can make use of them.

I will do business with WBUY again.”

Bay Industries Inc.

“I have to say once I found you the process was relatively quick and straightforward. Your website provided great details and once I submitted my inventory within 24 hours I had a quote and confirmation of the dollar amount.

The entire process from shipment to check in hand was painless and quick, I will most definitely use this service again and have already recommended it to my other peers.”
