  • 1. Can my data be securely erased without destroying the media itself?

    It depends on the sensitivity of your data.

    Level I  (reuse allowed)

    Appropriate for individual or business. Data Destruction Certificate provided at no charge

    Degauss allowable media types before testing and certification

    Reformat and single pass format of functional servo storage media and hard drives. Non-functional media will be degaussed (de-magnetized) and recycled

  • 5. How is the data on my devices erased?

    It depends on the type media / equipment

    Degaussing

    Degaussers are able to erase because they generate a magnetic field so powerful that it permanently removes the magnetic memory from the iron oxide which removes or randomized the data pattern. 

    Depending on the type of media, different magnetic field strengths are required to effectively destroy magnetic memory. Modern tapes and hard drives require more magnetic strength. Depending on the type of media your organization uses, we will use the appropriate degausser to get the job done.

    Hard drives are not reusable after being degaussed. Some media types are reusable after degauss and some are not

    Overwrite and Reformat

    Proprietary and approved software and processes are in place for sure data eradication.

    Reformat and single as well as multiple pass overwrites of functional servo storage media, hard drives, and other equipment allow secure data destruction and reuse.

    Data Tapes:  90 day money back guarantee; with lifetime warranty against defects

    Used Equipment:  Guaranteed not DOA; 30 day warranty

    New Equipment:   Varies depending on the equipment type and manufacturer.

    Refurbished Equipment:  Varies depending on the equipment type and manufacturer. Normally 30, 60, or 90 day warranty

  • 9. Do you have a minimum quantity for purchases/sales?

    You may purchase as few as one item from us. FREE Shipping does not apply to only one piece.

    Most times, if we are purchasing items from you, it does not make sense to only purchase one item at a time.

  • 10. Which payment methods do you accept?

    We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, PayPal, and wire transfer.  Please contact us for a Credit Card Authorization form.  You may also contact us for a Credit Application if you wish to obtain Net Terms.

  • 11. Do you ship to and purchase from internationally?

     Yes we do. 

    We will arrange and pay for shipping on any products we are purchasing from any location.

    For products you may be buying from us, we are able to ship to your freight forwarder within the US; or you may have your freight forwarder pick up the products from our facility. You may also use your DHL, FedEx, or UPS account.

  • 12. What is your privacy policy?

    We respect your privacy and the security of your data.  We do not sell or loan ANY of your information to anyone or any company.
